Patients with mobility issues who are no longer entitled to free treatment from the health service can apply to The GC Rieber Foundations for financial support, subject to a professional assessment by the centre. In 2018 the foundations funded treatments to a value of around NOK 1 million. ddddddd

Barnas Fysioterapisenter offers a unique treatment programme for children and young people aged 0–35, primarily those with neurological problems. The centre is highly praised by the children themselves, their parents and other medical professionals.

The centre possesses outstanding professional expertise and specialises in physiotherapy for children and young people, manual therapies, psychomotor therapy and clinical neurological physiotherapy. Children from across Norway attend the centre to receive cross-disciplinary therapies. Paediatric specialists, occupational therapists, psychologists and physiotherapists provide intensive habilitation services to the children and training to their parents.

The outstanding results demonstrated by the centre have been published in the highly respected European Journal of Physiotherapy.
